Yet another elf because I love drawing elves, if you couldn't tell. Yes, the color is not exactly viridian, but I think it makes for an interesting title.

This piece was drawn during a period when all I did was draw character portraits and busts. I had no idea how to draw anatomy.

I remember attempting a more cartoonish, illustrative style with this piece. It was the first time I used hatching when drawing digitally. When it came to digital art, I typically used to shade with blocks of color.

I think I liked the effect of hatching because I still use the technique in my digital art.

I edited the piece using a linear gradient in Photoshop Elements 7.0.
